Lukan is very productive and produces large bulbs.  This cultivar can also be known as "Lukak".  As with other Artichoke varieties, storage life would be up to 10 months.  This Artichoke variety is from the Czech collection of New York grower, Dr. Boris Andrst.  Our tasting shows a rich, but mild flavor with no after bite.
