TurTurban are weak bolting ban

Turban are weak bolting and earlier maturing than any other garlics.  In mild winter climates, Turbans may grow softneck.  Like the Asiatics, these garlics should be harvested earlier than other varieties.

The bulbs of Turbans can reach a good size even if the plants seem small.  These bulbs can be very attractive with their heavy stripes and can be perfect for early season marketing.

Turbans can store up to 4 months.  The cloves normally are a light, brown with a tinge of pink.  A pound of seed may produce up to 60 plants.

Snow Valley Garlic grows organic, premium, gourmet garlic for planting or eating;  We suggest both!  With over 28 heirloom varieties from all over the world, dating back hundreds of years, there is plenty to choose from.  You are certainly welcome to visit the farm, however, as we are a working farm from April to November, we simply ask that you bring your boots and gloves.
